A little more Longfellow-type sadness here this week and a lot of confusion to go with it.
I'm sure I'll be back to regular posting again soon but I wanted to pop in to ask for a few positive thoughts to be sent my way.

Back to school

We had a back to school disco here on Saturday night for G and her friends. Wow, 9 year old girls are NOISY! We had a lot of fun though.

I hope you are partying hard wherever you are.

Dinner tonight

Bruschetta
Crusty bread toasted lightly on both sides in a dry pan on the stove, quickly dunked in a shallow plate of olive oil, salt and pepper and covered in chopped grape tomatoes and basil leaves.
Served with a green salad and a potato salad.

I also made a zucchini slice but the kids were so full of bruschetta and salad I've put that aside for school lunches this week. How's that for efficient? I think I need a nap.
