We celebrated Oma's birthday yesterday and will keep the handmade sign up because J's birthday is just around the corner. I can't believe it! 
Hopefully in 2010 we'll buy a new oven and I'll be able to start baking again but until then it's donut stack cakes. I love them!

I am all over the donut stack. Drooling. It's so colorful!
(Our oven is on its way out, too. It likes to shut itself off in the middle of baking something.)
I can't believe it's coming up on 5 years already - for J :) and your Dad :(. It must be such a bittersweet time every year, those two events are so linked.
I am so stealing that idea and running to the mountains with it!
